Red Silk (coming in 2025)
The year is 1927. Onboard the Trans-Siberian Express, secret documents with the power to shape the future of the USSR and China are transported across The Russian Empire. Disguised among the passengers are foreign spies and ruthless mercenaries, ready to do whatever it takes to seize the documents. A young Red Army soldier and a former Tsarist agent must join forces to expose their common enemy.
Michael is an official composer of the movie. Any details will be available after film’s release in February.
Fedya. People’s Footballer (2024)
The film follows the beloved national football star, Fyodor Cherenkov, as he faces one of the toughest periods in his life. The only thing holding him back from despair is his dream of playing in the World Cup, a goal hindered by his emotional struggles. With support from his family, friends, and colleagues, Fyodor finds the strength to fight on.
Michael brings Cherenkov’s journey to life through a soundtrack blending three distinct elements: the energy and zest of football are conveyed with electric guitars and groovy drums, a live chamber orchestra adds a dramatic tone, and synthesized textures heighten the tension.

Four Quaters (2024)
Masha moves from her hometown and has an unexpected adventure: a mysterious boy sneaks into her room. The intruder turns out to be a new classmate, destined to become her best friend and first true love. Yet, misunderstandings from their families and close friends cast shadows over their budding romance.
Michael’s score captures the innocence and intensity of young love, intertwining delicate piano melodies with intimate strings ensemble to reflect the emotional journey of main characters.

Mnogodetstvo (2024)
The Gerasimov family is large and close-knit, but their cramped apartment strains their happiness. Architect Pavel dreams of a better space and designs a housing complex for large families. When a developer shows interest only for publicity, Pavel faces a conflict and leaves the city to build his dream project by hand at Pavel’s ancestral home.
The score brings a full range of musical emotions, enhancing the comedy, adding depth to the characters, and supporting the story’s flow. It spans a wide variety of styles, from upbeat electronic grooves to traditional Russian village music featuring balalaikas, domras, and the bayan.

One Life (2024)
One day, gamer Igor stumbles upon a video game where the character exists not only on screen but in real life. Trapped in his apartment, Igor must follow every command from this mysterious character to stop the bloodshed, knowing that his relatives have only one life — unlike in the game.
Michael intensifies Igor’s psychological struggle, blending dark synthetic drones and pulses with tense orchestration. The music captures the escalating danger, always playing on the edge of the nerve.

Abrek (2023)
Hatred and cruelty are starkly revealed in brutal dog fights, where the wolf Abrek is forced into a world of bloodshed by the darkest of human impulses. Unlike his tormentors, Abrek remains true to his nature, becoming an unspoken guide to courage, mercy, and what truly matters.
The music in the series was crafted to exaggerate the characters’ personalities and heighten the drama of the events. The soundtrack is a unique blend of primal energy, dramatic orchestra, Chechen motifs, and the spirit of the 1990s.

We (unreleased)
In a “perfect” Unified State, where everyone has a number and lives by strict schedules, engineer D-503’s orderly life unravels when he meets the enigmatic I-330, awakening forbidden emotions and revealing a plot to overthrow the State. The adaptation of the world’s first dystopian novel written by Yevgeny Zamyatin.
To convey the atmosphere of the Unified State, Michael chose a hybrid soundtrack with a strong emphasis on synthetic textures. Each main character is represented by a unique leitmotif that reflects their layered and complex nature.

Upon The Magic Roads (2021)
Ivan is no prince or hero, and his brothers even consider him a fool. But everything changes when he gains a loyal friend, the clever and brave Little Humpbacked Horse. Together, they face fierce enemies, daunting trials, and find a love worth risking everything for.
Michael served as the music supervisor on this project, coordinating the work of additional composers to create a rich and dynamic soundtrack that brings Ivan’s journey to life.
8 Ways to Love
Love has countless shades: love for oneself and all of humanity, the bond between parents and children, passion and obsession, selfless devotion and consuming infatuation. Even the ancient Greeks pondered its nature, identifying eight distinct types of love. Each episode of the series explores a different facet of this all-encompassing feeling, telling a story not connected to the previous episodes.
Michael’s task was to create eight unique soundtracks, each matching the tone of a different episode. This approach brings a wide range of musical genres to the series — from spy thriller and comedic horror to family melodrama and more.

Ice 2 (2020)
Figure skater Nadia and hockey player Sasha have married and now dream of having a child. However, the cost they’ll have to pay for this dream will be unimaginably high. This is the second part of “Ice” film, which has earned numerous awards, won over audiences and started to be a franchise.
Michael served as an additional composer on this project, but in fact he created all of the film’s original music, because the rest of the soundtrack features covers of popular songs performed by the film’s characters. Main purpose of Michael’s music was to add rhythm, emotion and drama to scenes that can’t work without music.

The Balkan Line (2019)
Yugoslavia, 1999. A special forces team is ordered to take control of the Slatina airfield in Kosovo and hold it until reinforcements arrive. However, this strategic site is also highly valuable to a local warlord and opposing military forces. The team is forced into an intense, uneven battle as additional forces race toward the airfield, bringing the world dangerously close to a major conflict.
Michael’s score heightens the tension of the high-stakes mission, blending intense orchestration with driving percussion to underscore the urgency and peril faced by the team in their struggle for control.
